The Seva bharathi (R.) Mangalore which is striving for upliftment of the standard of special abled children with other social activities has been recognized recently by the following 3 institutions. (1) Shri Durgaparameshwari Mutt, Montepadav, Naringana Village, Ullal Taluk on 8.3.2026 during Annual Satyanarayana Vrita Katha at it’s premises (2) Da. Ka. Kannada Sahitya Parishath on 28.3.2026 at it’s Annual meet at Sparsha Kalamandira, Bantwal (3) Shri Nagabrahma Taruna Vrinda (R.) Kodical, Mangaluru during it’s 38^th Annual day held on 4.4.2026 at Kodical. Shri P Vinod Shenoy, Treasurer of Seva Bharathi received the honor in all the above occasions.

Mass Birthday celebration of the children of Chethana School was held on 30th March 2026 at Chethana School. Shri H Nagaraj Bhat, Hon. Secy. welcomed the gatherings. Shri Srinivas Pranesh, Director (Retd), BASF, Katipalla, Mangaluru  who attended the program appreciated the way of traditional style of celebrating the birthday by involving the teachers and parents of the children. Shri B Prakash Pai, Senior Volunteer spoke on the importance of celebrating Mass Birthday.  Shri P Vinod Shenoy, Treasurer of Seva Bharathi, Shri Santosh Pai, HR Officer, BASF, Smt. Suprita, HM of the school were present during the occasion.  The teachers alongwith guests, parents, well-wishers collectively enjoyed the birthday where tilak and aarti applied to the children also by serving sweets & gifts to them.  Singing and dancing were presented by the teachers and children.  Smt. Rekha, compered the program and Smt. Champa proposed the vote of thanks.

Chetana Child Development Centre, a unit of Seva Bharathi ® Mangalore Celebrated its Annual Day celebrations on 19 December 2025 at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall Mangaluru. Sri H Nagaraj Bhat, Hon. Secretary of Seva Bharathi ® gave a brief introduction on service activities for divyang carried out by Seva Bharathi. Smt. Jayashri welcomed the gathering. Head mistress Suprita presented a report on annual activities of the school in the year 2025-26. Shri A Rajamani, Asst. General Manager, Union Bank of India the chief Guest distributed the prizes to the winner children in various competitions. The school children entertained the audience through dances, a playlet ‘Raita mattu Bhumi Tayi’ and a dance drama on Great freedom fighter ‘Rani Abbakka’ Ullala being the year 2025 is 500^th year of her rule. The presentation on Abbakka’s life struggle and sacrifice to the country has been an eye opener to the present generation audience.  Smt. Sumana Ghate, Member, Seva Bharathi Advisory Committee, Shri P Vinod Shenoy, Treasurer, CA Giridhar Kamath, Auditor and Prithvipala, CEO of Seva Bharathi, children with parents gathered in a big number.

The Chetana Child Development Center, V.T.Road Mangaluru, a unit of Seva Bharathi® Mangalore, celebrated Rakshabandhan at school premises on 8th August 2025. In a simple but heartwarming function, the Headmistress and teachers put tilak on the foreheads of all the children, lit Arathi and tied Rakhies fostering the spirit of mutual brotherhood and also sweets were distributed.

The students of Mangaluru Branch of SIRC of ICAI and SICASA of ICAI, the Chartered Accountants under the leadership of CA Giridhar Kamath visited Madhava Vana projects at Montepadavu, Naringana Village, Ullala Taluk on 27.07.2025 to see the facilities arranged for welfare/treatment of Divyang Community and also to ascertain the possibility of extending the required support. They also took a tree plantation drive at the tree park in the campus and planted 52 varieties of saplings. CA Mr. Nithin Baliga, Chairman, SICASA-ICAI Mangalore, CA Mr. Prashanth Pai, Chairman, ICAI Mangaluru, Shri P. Vinod Shenoy Treasurer and Dr. Satheesh Rao Trustee of Seva Bharathi were present during the occasion. Mr. Prithwipala K, CEO of Seva Bharathi shared a brief on the organization’s mission, ongoing initiatives and future plans. The event saw enthusiastic participation from CA students for greening the Madhava Vana Campus.

Anantha Soukhya, a forum of Seva Bharathi working for the senior citizens organized a ‘Cardiac health checkup Camp’ in association with KMC Mangaluru on 20th July 2025 at Chetana School, V T Road Mangaluru. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath, Professor, Department of Cardiology KMC Mangaluru and his team consisting of doctors and technicians from KMC Hospital and CAD Foundation, Mangaluru conducted the camp. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp in the presence of dignitaries on the dais and addressed the gathering. He said that senior citizens should undergo frequent cardiac checkup to avoid last hour rush in heart related cases. Dr. Sunil J Rao, Senior physician and consultant in Internal Medicine, Shri Mukund Kamath, President, Shri H Nagaraj Bhat Honorary secretary, Shri Vinod Shenoy Treasurer & Dr. K R Kamath trustee of Seva Bharathi & Shri Umesh Shenoy, convener, Anantha Soukhya were present on the dais. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath handed over one ECG machine and two-wheel chairs to Seva Bharathi through President of Seva Bharathi. Mr. Umesh Shenoy announced that those who come to Chetana School during working hours with any Doctor's prescription, ECG test will be conducted free of cost. The camp was utilized by 162 senior citizens.
