The students of Mangaluru Branch of SIRC of ICAI and SICASA of ICAI, the Chartered Accountants under the leadership of CA Giridhar Kamath visited Madhava Vana projects at Montepadavu, Naringana Village, Ullala Taluk on 27.07.2025 to see the facilities arranged for welfare/treatment of Divyang Community and also to ascertain the possibility of extending the required support. They also took a tree plantation drive at the tree park in the campus and planted 52 varieties of saplings. CA Mr. Nithin Baliga, Chairman, SICASA-ICAI Mangalore, CA Mr. Prashanth Pai, Chairman, ICAI Mangaluru, Shri P. Vinod Shenoy Treasurer and Dr. Satheesh Rao Trustee of Seva Bharathi were present during the occasion. Mr. Prithwipala K, CEO of Seva Bharathi shared a brief on the organization’s mission, ongoing initiatives and future plans. The event saw enthusiastic participation from CA students for greening the Madhava Vana Campus.

Anantha Soukhya, a forum of Seva Bharathi working for the senior citizens organized a ‘Cardiac health checkup Camp’ in association with KMC Mangaluru on 20th July 2025 at Chetana School, V T Road Mangaluru. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath, Professor, Department of Cardiology KMC Mangaluru and his team consisting of doctors and technicians from KMC Hospital and CAD Foundation, Mangaluru conducted the camp. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp in the presence of dignitaries on the dais and addressed the gathering. He said that senior citizens should undergo frequent cardiac checkup to avoid last hour rush in heart related cases. Dr. Sunil J Rao, Senior physician and consultant in Internal Medicine, Shri Mukund Kamath, President, Shri H Nagaraj Bhat Honorary secretary, Shri Vinod Shenoy Treasurer & Dr. K R Kamath trustee of Seva Bharathi & Shri Umesh Shenoy, convener, Anantha Soukhya were present on the dais. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath handed over one ECG machine and two-wheel chairs to Seva Bharathi through President of Seva Bharathi. Mr. Umesh Shenoy announced that those who come to Chetana School during working hours with any Doctor’s prescription, ECG test will be conducted free of cost. The camp was utilized by 162 senior citizens.

Bhagirathi Murulya, District President of BJP Shri Sathish Kumpala and CEO of Hosa Dgantha Kannada daily Shri P S Prakash visited our Madhava Vana campus at Montepadavu, Naringana Village of Ullal Taluk on 19th July 2025 to know the service activities in the new project for the divyang community, to ascertain the areas of essentially required support to the ongoing projects and to see the pending construction & auxiliary works by which the services to the needy divyang through this project could be hastened. Shri H Nagraj Bhat, Shri P Vinod Shenoy & Shri Prithwipal K, the secretary, treasurer & CEO of the Seva Bharathi, respectively, were present to expound their related queries.

The Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru celebrated vana mahotsava by planting saplings at the garden outside the centre on 01.07.2025. The school HM, teachers and volunteers participated in the program.
