Anantha Soukhya, a forum of Seva Bharathi working for the senior citizens organized a ‘Cardiac health checkup Camp’ in association with KMC Mangaluru on 20th July 2025 at Chetana School, V T Road Mangaluru. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath, Professor, Department of Cardiology KMC Mangaluru and his team consisting of doctors and technicians from KMC Hospital and CAD Foundation, Mangaluru conducted the camp. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp in the presence of dignitaries on the dais and addressed the gathering. He said that senior citizens should undergo frequent cardiac checkup to avoid last hour rush in heart related cases. Dr. Sunil J Rao, Senior physician and consultant in Internal Medicine, Shri Mukund Kamath, President, Shri H Nagaraj Bhat Honorary secretary, Shri Vinod Shenoy Treasurer & Dr. K R Kamath trustee of Seva Bharathi & Shri Umesh Shenoy, convener, Anantha Soukhya were present on the dais. Dr. Padmanabha Kamath handed over one ECG machine and two-wheel chairs to Seva Bharathi through President of Seva Bharathi. Mr. Umesh Shenoy announced that those who come to Chetana School during working hours with any Doctor’s prescription, ECG test will be conducted free of cost. The camp was utilized by 162 senior citizens.
