Seva Bharathi Celebrated AZADI KA AMRUTH MAHOTSAVA, the 76th Independence Day at all it’s units

At Chetana Child Development Centre, Mrs. Poornima, Corporator, Mangaluru City Corporation was the chief guest, hoisted the National Flag. The special children and staff of the centre performed cultural program depicting history of freedom struggle. Smt. Sumathi V Shenoy, President and other trustees of Seva Bharathi®, parents and well wishers were gathered in large number.

At Adamya Chetana Day Care Centre, Ullal, Veteran Sri Muralidhar Malya, hoisted the Flag. Smt. Manjula, Manager, State Bank of India, Kutharpadavu, Shri Laxman Shenoy and Shri T Nithyananda Shenoy, Enterpreneurs, staff and special children of the day care centre witnessed the celebration.

At Vidya Chetana Special School, Ramakunja, Puttur Taluk, Shri Harshit, President, Ramakunj Village Panchayath was the chief guest, hoisted the National Flag. The celebration was witnessed by entire team of Village Panchayath and special children & staff of the school.

At Roman & Catherine Lobo Residential School for Visually Impaired, Shri A N Krishnamurthy, General Secretary, hoisted the National Flag. Sevabharathi Trustees Sri Vinod Shenoy and Sri Gajanana Pai, the Principal of the school Mr. Calistus D’sa, Canara Bank Retired Officer’s Association office bearers and members Sri B V Shenoy, Sri Umesh Shenoy, Sri Laxmikanth Nayak, staff, students and parents of the school were participated in the celebration

Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru celebrated ‘Shri Krishna Janmashtami’ on 18.8.2022. Smt. Sumathi V Shenoy, President, Seva Bharathi, Smt. Sujatha Kamath the chief guest of the function and Smt. Suprita H M were present during the occasion. School teachers, children and those gathered in the function chanted Shri Krishnastothara, sang Bhajans with children, followed by Arathi. All the girls were dressed as ‘Radha’ and boys as ‘Krishna’ for performing Tottilu (cradle) Pooja. The teachers presented dance and Kunitha Bhajane (dance with bhajan). Ashtami related games ‘Mosaru Kudike’ (breaking the pot) and ‘Dana-Huli’ (chasing the cow) were played involving all the participants.
