Under the ‘Public Reach Program’ of BASF India Ltd. a German multinational Chemical Company. the teachers of Chethana Child Development Centre (CCDC) visited the BASF unit at Katipalla, Bala village, Suratkal -Bajpe Road on 29.5.2026. In fact, it was a study tour for CCDC team for better understanding the factory environment, especially the effluent water treatment process. The team was given a detailed presentation on the different plants in the campus, its’ processes and products. The presentation was very educative and informative including the glimpses of ‘Responsible Care Management System’ followed by BASF worldwide to protect the environment, health and paint industry. Mr Santhosh Pai, Head, Human Resource Development coordinated the visit and presentation on behalf of BASF. H Nagaraj Bhat, Hon. Secy and P Vinod Shenoy, Treasurer of Seva Bharathi, Smt. Suprita, HM & Special Teachers of CCDC and volunteers were present during the occasion.
